Our Pledge to Our Black Communities

Today and everyday we pledge to continue to work alongside our Black communities of every city across our nation to work towards a better tomorrow.

In the work that we do as an organization, solving for food insecurity and providing workforce development, we see their struggle every single day. In our personal lives, we see the extra challenges our Black friends and neighbors face unnecessarily--from doctors to city officials to local business owners, the disparity is palpable. Our hearts ache when we realize that these challenges in comparison to the violence could be inflicted on these dear friends at any time, are actually a best-case scenario.

We will leverage our voices to raise their messages and bring awareness to their struggles. We will hold our various industries accountable until equity is the norm. We will take our business to them whenever it is possible. We will nourish them and help them thrive.

That is our promise to our Black community. Today and every day.
